Cancellation and Refund Policy
Upon booking, the renter pays a non-refundable deposit equal to the agreed percentage of the respective tour or rental.
If delivery of the previously reserved vehicle cannot be made on the agreed date and/or time for a reason beyond the control of the rental company or Karakoles 4x4, such as a delay by the previous renter, an accident, theft, breakdown, or any other situation, Karakoles 4x4 may provide the renter with a replacement vehicle, if available, or a full refund of the amount paid without additional compensation. In the event of late pick-up or early return, the renter is not entitled to a refund for the unused portion of the rental.
KARAKOLES 4x4 reserves the right to cancel or postpone a trip if factors such as bad weather, public order, road conditions, disasters, or other unexpected events could compromise the safety of travelers, tour guides, and/or local communities, or make continuation of the planned trip impossible. In this case, and unless prior agreements have been concluded with third parties, the amount paid up to the time of cancellation will be fully refunded. However, if KARAKOLES 4x4 has already made payments to third parties to guarantee the reservation and execution of the trip and cannot obtain a refund from these providers, KARAKOLES 4x4 will retain the value of these payments and refund the remaining amount to the renter.
